Uncle Zach

Uncle Zach is done.

At least I'm done writing it. I've sent it to some beta readers and hopefully I'll get it out soon. It took far longer than I planned and I ended up cutting some of it out... but I think it turned out well.

What it is: 40k words of pure smut.

What it isn't: Plot-heavy lol

Anyway, something in my brain needed me to finish this before finishing another one of my WIPs.

Folks who have subscriptions: I've uploaded the beta copy to the book page (here) and updated the list of Themes/CWs. You can download it now if you like OR you can wait until it's been proofread/beta-ed/edited, etc. Of course, I'll let you know when the final version is live.

Sarge

Tags/CW: Science fiction, grumpy/sunshine, military, age gap, BDSM, D/s, lgbtq+

Sometimes it’s just about being in the right place at the right time… with the right person.

Sarge is the short story of a burgeoning D/s relationship between two Space Marines stationed on an alien planet where an endless war drags on.

Sergeant Wilkes is a hard man with a long, celebrated military career.

Brawny, tattooed, and utterly submissive, Murphy is just an interesting diversion… until Sarge realizes he has found something truly rare.

The Blacksmith’s Apprentice

Tag/CW: Fantasy, non-human, furry, slow burn, slavery, caste system, religion, abuse/rape, age-gap, romance

Eyck didn’t need anyone.
Eyck lived a good life in South Galetsy. A respected blacksmith, he spent long days making swords for the Border War, and even though he ached by day’s end, the last thing he thought he needed was an apprentice. He had his work and his best friend, Pash, and that was fine.

When Wex showed up on his stoop asking for work, Eyck agreed to take him on—no matter that Wex turned out to be prickly and secretive and an absolute bloody pain in the tail to work with. Well… mostly.

Wex didn’t want anyone.
Wex was tired of just scraping by. A freed slave and ex-convict, Wex was stubbornly determined not to let his breed caste or muteness stop him from carving out a decent life for himself. All he needed was a little help getting there.

Words like “trust”, “love, or even “desire” weren’t part of Wex’s vocabulary, and he didn’t want them to be—those words could enslave just as easily as iron. He was using the blacksmith to learn a skill, nothing more. Problem was, Wex couldn’t get Eyck out of his head.

The Last Nights of the Frangipani Hotel

Tags/CW: Bi-awakening, contemporary, romance, humour, erotica, beach read

All James wanted was a little solitude at his favourite resort: bright sunshine overhead, soft, white sand underfoot, and a hammock to read in while the warm breeze rustles through the coconut palms and almond trees. However, when an old acquaintance shows up, and James is obliged to share “his” beach, a profound exchange over a bottle of rum leads to a lust-fuelled encounter in the dark.

Reeling from the intensity of the drunken tryst, James decides to cut his vacation short rather than face what he’s kept hidden under mountains of denial.

However, his escape is thwarted when Rudie, handsome and plainspoken, calls him out on his behaviour and makes him see that life needn’t be spent running away from his desires.

Set at a rundown old resort on a small Caribbean island, The Last Nights of The Frangipani Hotel is a story about letting go of fear and learning that passion and love can be found in the most unexpected of places.

Baal’s Heart, KU, Links, etc

Howdy!

For those who've been asking for the Baal's Heart Box Set in paperback (or in general) you can find it here: https://books2read.com/BaalsHeart. So far it's only in a few places but it'll be available elsewhere as they receive the info from Ingram Sparks.

The majority of my books are now out of Kindle Unlimited. The only one left is The Blacksmith's Apprentice which will come out of KU on the 11th of June. If you're looking to buy any of my titles and wonder where they're available, you can check check my books page here on my site, where you can check out the CWs/tags for each title, or skip to here and see where you can buy them. The only two titles that aren't available wide yet are Frangipani (because I haven't had time to submit it to D2D yet) and Sarge & Murphy because I'm working on new covers for them. But, the two novellettes are available in the F.I.S.T.S. Handbook, which you can find in lots of places.

Now, off to finish Uncle Zach...

Wondering which retailer pays me the most?

#1 is Payhip. Not a retailer, but an online shop that I've set up myself. This is where I make the most return on my books.

Then after that it gets a little complicated, but these are the three best choices:

At Eden Books*, I make 70% royalties for all titles.

At Smashwords, I make 60% royalties for all titles.

At Amazon, for books OVER $2.99 (USD) I make 70% royalties and for books UNDER $2.99 I make 35%

So... if the book is under $2.99, buy from Eden Books or Smashwords.

If the books is over $2.99, buy from Eden Books or Amazon.

But best of all, buy from my Payhip store :)

*Not all my titles are available at Eden yet as of 25/09/23 - I'm working on it.
